KD2000 Deformation Measurement

Software for detecting pipe deformations

KD2000

The KD2000 software enables reliable measurement of deformations in pipes using laser projection. For deformation measurement, a laser attachment from any manufacturer is mounted on the camera and projects a laser circle onto the pipe wall when pulling back. This laser circle is detected by the KD2000 software and enables the calculation of various measured values such as ovality, capacity and nominal diameter of the pipe, including the creation of a 3D model. The resulting statistics facilitate the assessment of the pipe condition at a glance.

Measured Values of Deformation Measurement

  • Determination of ovality, capacity and nominal diameter
  • Detection of nominal diameter changes
  • Detection of joints, branches and connections
  • Detection of contamination and irregularities
  • Detection of deformations
  • Detection of sags
  • Detection of water level in the invert
  • Detection of roots and ingrowth

Visualization of Deformations

The pipe geometry can also be displayed as a 3D model. Different colors highlight deformations. For documentation and viewing purposes, all results can be output as a graph and statistics can be calculated from them.

Data Transfer

In addition to outputting the diagrams via a printer, the entire recording as well as the analysis results can be transferred to the client license-free via the viewer program KS2000.
