K2000 Version 9.0

We are pleased to present the new program version 9 of K2000.

The new version impresses with numerous further developments, improved usability and extended functions. In addition, many wishes and suggestions from our customers have been implemented.

User Interface / Program Navigation

• Toolbars and buttons have been graphically updated and modernized
• Improved support for multiple PC monitors
• Complete overhaul of help files
• Alphabetical sorting of reference tables
• When displaying reference reports, the long text and annotations are shown below the defect description
• Management of reference reports now also works without an overlay device
• When creating a height and inclination profile, the manhole height above sea level can be set on the Y-axis
• After completing a batch print, the program no longer returns to the basic state but to the database selection. Multiple outputs can thus be performed more quickly
• Dialog for setting the minimum available storage space for video recording has been revised. Any values can now be entered
• Table display has been made clearer
• The assignment when modifying continuous defects has been made more user-friendly

• During data capture, a material specification can now be made for branches

PDF

• Support for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
• PDF management on servers has been revised
• Opening PDF documents via the context menu has been improved
• Printing of PDF documents has been revised
• When writing PDF documents, additional fields from the header data are included

Digitization

• Support for Full-HD video recording with H.264 video compression
• Video folder can consist of multiple subdirectories
• Video sequences are now managed like report videos
• Video player functionality has been extended
• Method for drawing the reference circle for nominal width measurement has been improved

Database

• Optimization and overhaul of the database
• Database queries for individual case evaluations possible
• Database query for manholes - defect classes: Structural safety, Operational safety, Tightness
• Maintenance database fields: Survey direction added
• Database query revised: “Within period” and “Invert selection” can now be used simultaneously

Viewer

• The viewer is now better structured during generation and saved in an additional subfolder
• After creating the viewer, it can be started or tested immediately
• If multiple viewers are in a subfolder, they can be conveniently started via the menu item “Test Viewer”. All viewers are displayed in a dialog and can be selected. For each viewer, the stored data is shown
• The dialog “Read Viewer Database” remembers the last used folder
• H264 videos can be played in the viewer

LP2000 - Site Plan

• True-to-scale display of manhole diameters in the site plan
• When updating the sewer network, the displayed properties are no longer hidden
• Display of fictitious manholes
• Bug fix for displaying colors by defect class
• Problem with triangulation measurement has been fixed
• Printing of DXF data has been optimized
• Problem loading master data fixed
• Color display by wastewater type for pipe master data has been revised
• Color display of objects improved
• GPS data can be imported as UTM coordinates

GS2000 - Property Module

• When working with master data, inspection can be performed “with” and “against” flow direction
• During SKI inspection, the height of a branch can be calculated based on the master data
• When an image is used as a background plan, it can be georeferenced
• Output of rehabilitation measures via Excel
• Problem with moving labels fixed
• Labels can be enlarged / reduced
• Merges are considered in DXF export
• Condition assessment according to ISYBAU 2013 for properties added

S2000 - Rehabilitation

• When creating a master report, the image limit of 999 images per day has been removed. Reports with any number of images can now be managed
• When automatically creating PDF documents, additional fields from the header data can be included
• Overlay of defect texts revised
• During rehabilitation data capture, the lengths between continuous defect start and end are now calculated and saved as a numerical addition
• Working with PDF documents has been revised. When creating a new PDF document for a specific defect definition, it automatically adopts the data from the last edited document
• Program navigation has been improved. The “Start of inspection” window is only displayed when a report video is being recorded

KD2000 - Continuous Deformation Measurement

• Continuous deformation measurement now also possible in pipelines
• Minor bug fixes

NS2000 - Video Server

• Global configurations added that can only be changed with administrator rights
• Video files are included when importing transfer data

DP2000 - Leak Testing

• For joint testing with Staedtler&Beck, a packer pressure higher than 4 bar can now be set
• EN1610 Joint Testing: New procedure implemented that leads to shorter testing times
• Maintenance database fields added

LG2000 - List Generator

• Working with multiple monitors has been improved
• Database query extended
• Error in outputting classes (classification / assessment) has been fixed

MS2000 - Manhole Inspection

• Loading of sectors from the site plan has been added
• An image can now be automatically created during defect description
• At the end of the defect description, images can be imported or taken directly with the camera of a tablet PC and imported
• Captured / imported images are displayed as a preview in the overview. Images can also be displayed in full screen
• Syntax-logic check has been extended to detect open continuous defects
