K2000 Release Version 11

Welcome to the 11.0 release of K2000. This version contains a number of updates that we hope you will enjoy. Below you will find an overview of some of the new features and important enhancements

GS2000 - 3D Inspection

Manhole Inspection

Manhole inspections can now also be accessed via the property module. Manholes can be loaded from the database and edited in the property module.

Usability

• Selecting (hidden) objects / starting points has been simplified. Object selection via flags is now possible.
• Display defect images directly from the map. If a defect description has a defect image attached, the label is displayed in a different color. Clicking the flag opens the defect image.
• The operator is now better supported during connection numbering in GS2000.
• When transferring and exporting inspections, the street name is also displayed.

Automatically Calculate Starting Points / Connection Points

Under certain conditions, the program can automatically calculate and place the position of an inspection starting point in the 3D plan.

Unique Object Names

Here the user is notified when duplicate starting points, end points, or section/pipe numbers have been used.

Pipe Selection by Date

During export, it is possible to select only objects from an inspection that were captured within a specific time period.

Various Enhancements

• Re-cutting master data from the site plan into GS2000 is now possible
• During GS2000 export, video and image names of sections now receive user-defined settings for sections. Previously this was only possible for pipes.
• GS2000 now also imports master data with missing Z-coordinates.
• When importing manhole master data into GS2000, the manhole label is now populated with the manhole number.

When testing manholes, the surface can be calculated using the manhole editor.

Template for “Signature” When Printing Test Protocols

It is possible to scan in a signature. When printing many protocols, they no longer need to be signed individually.

Various Enhancements

• Standard DWA M 149-6 implemented.
• Customization of reference tables by the user.
• Import of manhole master data (ISYBAU XML, DWA M 150).

MS2000 - Manhole Inspection

Manhole Overview

Manholes are displayed in a list sorted by date.

Match Manhole Data with Master Data

Simple matching of subsequently imported master data.

Place Manholes in Site Plan via GPS

The manhole to be inspected can be automatically placed at the GPS location and the GPS coordinates are transferred to the header data.

Improved Defect Capture and Editing

The dialog for editing section and manhole defects has been revised: Mandatory fields are displayed in blue, numerical additions are displayed more clearly. New defects are now automatically sorted when editing.

KD2000 - Continuous Deformation Measurement

90% Fractile

During continuous deformation measurement, the 90% fractile is calculated and displayed in the Statistics section.

H.264 Codec

Continuous deformation measurement now supports H.264 videos.

General

• Copy existing project settings.
• Better multi-monitor support.
• Database query extended and interface improved.
• During updates, the new features are displayed on the first program start.
• Inspection cancellation simplified.

Interfaces

ISYBAU XML

In addition to the pipe length, the section length relative to the manhole center point can be imported and exported.

DWA M 150 XML

Calculation of start and end coordinates when exporting sections.

Extension DWA M150 Type Z:

• Adaptation to GIS system requirements regarding UTM coordinates.
• The M150-Special Type Z export can be output as Type B if needed.

Improvements

Better support for BaSYS, NovaKANDIS, Berlin interfaces (V05).

NovaKANDIS has been added to the project selection with EN13508-2 catalogs. This ensures that all necessary settings for this format are automatically applied.
